Bali Volcano Relief Fund
For almost a month there have been evacuation notices that the largest volcano in Bali, Mount Agung, may erupt! Diah and I live roughly 30 kilometers away from the evacuation site, but we sense the urgency as we receive news daily of impending disaster.
Diah’s village was one of the many evacuated from the volcanic region, with almost 100,000 people relocated to neighboring villages, to wait with no assurance of a return.
We are asking for support in aiding the evacuees of the natural disaster area, so that we may provide them with basic necessities, like: blankets, water, food, books, children’s toys, hygiene products, women’s care products, etc.
There is no sign of when the volcano will erupt, or pacify, and the region grows more on edge as the ash plumes from the volcano’s mouth.
